Shipping Policy
At The Colour Collectors, each order is packed with care from our studio in Somerset West, South Africa.
Processing Times
All items are made in small batches and most of them customised in your chosen colours, we thank you for understanding the time it takes to be able to give you this exclusive offer and make unique garments and homeware for you. We aim to dispatch all orders as soon as possible, but our safety timezone is within 10 - 12 workdays after your payment has been recieved. If an item is in stock, we aim for 2 - 3 days after payment is recieved. If there is any delay, we’ll always keep you updated.
Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Shipping Within South Africa
We currently ship nationwide across South Africa.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Cape Town: 1–3 working days
- Main centres: 2–5 working days
- Outlying or rural areas: 4–7 working days
Delivery times may vary slightly during busy periods or sales.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
Example structure (edit as needed):
- CourierGuy delivery to your door: R160
- Delivery to a Pudo locker of your choice: R90
- Free shipping on orders over R2500
Remote areas may incur an additional courier fee.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
Delivery Information
Please ensure that your shipping address and contact details are correct before completing your order.
We ship to physical addresses within South Africa and Pudo Lockers.
Someone should be available to receive the parcel during business hours.
Local Collection (Optional)
Cape Town customers are welcome to collect orders from our Somerset West home studio by arrangement. We are available for pick up's mostly during weekday mornings from 09:00 - 12:00. Please select “Local Collection” at checkout and we’ll contact you once your order is ready.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
While we work with trusted courier partners, occasional delays can happen.
If your parcel seems delayed or missing, please contact us on our email on our contact page and we’ll do our best to assist.
International Shipping (Optional)
We currently do not offer international shipping through the website. If you are outside South Africa and would like to place an order, please contact us directly on our contact page.
